Prime Environmental removed some asbestos containing flooring for me in April 2026. It had to be removed due to failed sewer line that required concrete removal in basement. I am happy to report that Jessie Adame's team were very professional. They followed all safety protocols and gave me a competitive price. I was lucky the glue below the flooring does not contain asbestos so I can do that part myself and save some money. All of my questions were answered, everyone knew their job and were a pleasure to work with. They also provided me with complete records, including photos of the project and the air quality report showing compliance. I highly recommend them!
When we bought our house last year in a Denver suburb, we had no idea that some of the walls contained asbestos. Prime Environmental came to the rescue after a flood from a broken pipe caused a kitchen wall to collapse, leading to a major asbestos spill. The Prime crew responded quickly and efficiently to seal off the house and clean up the mess, communicating to us every step of the way. While we unfortunately had to dispose of a lot of personal property, including ALL our major appliances, due to asbestos contamination, Prime made every effort to clean and preserve as many items as possible. All along, the project manager Jessie and his crew said their first concern was satisfying us, the customers, and I can honestly say they did just that.

Buildings constructed before 1980 have a high likelihood of containing asbestos. The only way to know for certain is professional testing. On restoration jobs, we recommend testing any disturbed material in pre-1980 structures before remediation begins.
Not always. If asbestos-containing materials are in good condition and won't be disturbed, they can often be safely encapsulated or left in place. On restoration jobs where structural materials are already compromised, removal is typically required.
Project duration depends on the extent of asbestos and the size of the area. Small residential projects typically take 1–3 days. Larger commercial projects can take several weeks. On emergency restoration work, we run extended hours and weekends to compress timelines.
For your safety, we recommend vacating during abatement. We establish sealed containment, but it's best to avoid potential exposure. We'll inform you when it's safe to return after clearance testing.
